Designed and manufactured by a gentleman (Richard Watson) who “knows how it should be done”.  With a lifetime warranty on the tree you know your invested money will be going the distance, for today and down the trail for tomorrow.

The concept isn’t new but the way in which it is applied and designed is.  Others have tapped the direction in which saddle makers are heading in today’s market.  Rocking R Saddlery has already arrived at the destination.  Exceptionally higher quality leather and workmanship tell the story right from the visual beginning.  Apply the fundamentals of a moveable panel system to a specifically designed tree and not only have you provided the rider with a comfort zone to go a 100 miles, but most important, a saddle investment that will actually allow conformational changes to occur in our equines.  Not only in the young developing horse, but through the vigor’s of “getting in shape” and even adaptable to the conformational changes in our older animals.  Disperse the rider’s weight evenly along the equine back and provide a means of “no restrictions in movement or growth” for our horses and mules and give us close contact for riding is the goal already reached by Rocking R Saddlery.

A panel system that has been developed over the years and updated for today’s standards still remains true, “System I”.  Mounted directly to the tree with no rotating bolts or washers, which prevents any pressure points derived from the point of attachment.  This panel allows for greater shoulder movement because the panel moves freely from one place and not a flexible panel bolt rotating around the attachment mounting.  The term “System II” in the rear of the panel is mounted the same as the front but has a small slot that the panel can travel forward and back according to our weight in the saddle.  This allows the panel to conform to all shapes and types of horses and mules backs when riders weight is place in the saddle.
